today, i took a few more cuttings from my plants. hang dry them for future use. the mint leaves are for tea. the herbs are for flavoring my dishes.

i’m trying to propagate my mint plants from cuttings. i had done this successfully with my basil plants and so far, the basil was very easy to propagate.

this afternoon, i took a few cuttings from my mint plants and placed them in glasses with water. i labeled them accordingly: peppermint, spearmint, javamint, orangemint and chocomint. i will wait 1-2 weeks until they grow some roots and re-plant them in pots.

A hotel for plants! What a great idea for travelers who hate to leave their plants at home, knowing they won’t be watered for a few days.

in vietnam, my favorite thing to eat was the beef pho. you help yourself with as much basil, lime, chilli and tarragon garnishings.
